Catorce de Mayo (aka Late Cinco de Mayo Party)

We threw a late Cinco de Mayo Party... there were quite a few names for the event swirling around, but ultimately we just wanted an excuse to have folks over before our kitchen renovation gets underway.  It was also a nice way to kick off the summer. We had beautiful weather and lots of good friends!

We had a Tequila tasting. 5 different tequilas, all other ingredients for the margaritas were the same. Here was the tasting results, in order from worst to best: Poncho Villa, Jose Cuervo, Milangro, Patron Reposado, and the top pick was Patron Anejo. There you have it! Tequila quality DOES matter!
