Miss Roma's Paw

Miss Roma has been confined indoors for the last 2 months and it is NOT her first preference. She had a nail accident while playing fetch outside in the snow, which resulted in an infection, re-injury, then another infection. The vet says nail boo boo's can take a long time to heal, but that it's super important to keep a close eye on the injury because the nail is so close to the bones in the paw. (infection + bone = bad).

Oh, and she also cracked a tooth in half and had to have it removed.

"Aunt Jolin brought me sweet potato cookies back from Hawaii!"

Iodine solution foot washes 3x/day are getting old.

Roma has learned how to play fetch by herself. She runs up with the ball, drops the ball down the stairs, then runs and gets it. So. CUTE.

I must say, Roma has some really nice friends...

Roma is infatuated with this sheep, which makes duck call noise everytime she chews on it. Pretty sure that's not what sheep sound like, but Roma LOVES duck calls. 

 

I'm in disbelief that the sheep is still alive after 3 days of Roma lov'in.

Did I mention, that's how she woke me up this morning? Squeeky, squeek, squeek. Lovely.
