Yes, that is an owl birthday cake for Claire's two year old party! It took me 3 hours to pull it together but next owl cake I'm sure will be faster. Oh wait, there won't be another owl cake... :)
Claire had bday cake 4 days in a row: tres Leche when we went out to eat on Claire's actual birthday, owl cake at her party, carrot cake to celebrate Ross's birthday, and then monster truck cake to celebrate friend Mason's birthday. Now if that's not a special weekend I'm not sure what is?!
