Claire's First Swim Lesson

Let's be honest, the first 10 minutes were pretty awful. Claire was "that baby" crying "No momma, STOP!", "No No Pool", "No Big Bath." The teacher asked us if it was her first time. That obvious I guess.

It wasn't until we got some toys that everything changed. I think it helped they had the same fish toy as we use in the bath tub.

 But then we had a relapse when we tried to scoot from the wall into Momma's arms.

"You want me to what??"

Claire wouldn't lean forward to my hands, so I had to basically shove her back with one hand and catch her with the other.

And then all was ok.

Very ok :) We're going for most improved swimmer in the class :)

Good thing Gigi and Pop Pop were there to learn the ropes before they fly solo at a future lesson!
