Times Square
Grand Central Station. The ceiling is pretty amazing and a beautiful Tiffany blue color.
Our first morning in NYC, we made the trek to the 9-11 Memorial. It was really moving to see ground zero. World Trade 1 is almost complete and they were breaking ground on another one of the buildings. The museum (shown in first picture) has not yet opened.
The name plaques around each of the fountains are simple yet elegant. We saw a couple names that read "... and their unborn child." Tragic.
30 foot fountains mark the outline of both buildings; north and south.
There's a gaping hole in the middle of the fountains.
A lone tree survived the orignal event and was transplanted and eventually re-planted in the courtyard.
One of our favorite stops in the city. A must-see!
