Dyson

I bought a dyson... but not the vacuum kind :)

Hello new hair dryer. Not only is it beautiful, it's lightweight and much quieter compared to my previous. The initial test drive was promising, but time will tell if it's worth the hype. I'm sure it would make a great Mother's Day present!

Karbach

Y’all we went to karbach brewery.... on a wed night. Crazy. It’s been so long since we’ve gone to a restaurant, the kids are definitely out of practice. But It was beautiful weather and Ross convinced us we needed some mid-week fun :)

Iron paradise

I have access to an amazing gym at work (for free!) these days with some gym “candy” I’ve never seen or used before. 

A Bulgarian bag? Anyone?

I think these are chains to hang off a bar in case you run out of plates?

There’s lots of company rules still in place around the gym, but it feels so good to get back in the groove - though there were some great driveway sessions during quarantine.

 Oh it's a Monday and per the usual, I'm exhausted. Is it Friday yet?

Birthday Boy

Another year older and wiser for Dad. We celebrated with superhero costumes, pirate ship play time, and lots of good food. Happy Birthday Dad!

 Paige did not want to go on a walk BUT she does like to hide behind trees, so we found a way to make it a combo, keeping everyone happy. compromise.

I'm not quite sure why this picture of the girls at Courtney's house reminds me of two little old lady BFF's gossiping over scones and jams.

In actuality they are just contemplating who might get the most frosting in the cookie decorating they were about to embark on. :)

Full heart

Such a full heart from a great weekend! Houston had some beautiful weather so we spent most of the weekend outside. Vitamin D + friends was just what we needed.

Asheville NC

 We went for a walk along a pretty river in Asheville. All I heard behind me was "what we even doing right now?" and "is this the way home?" and "my legs so tired" curtesy of Paige. (Just for the record this walk was completely flat). When we starting playing hide and seek behind the trees her outlook really turned around :)

Of course when Claire climbed a tree, Paige wanted to also. 

Except "I is so scared daddy... daddy hold me and mommy take a picture of me too, like Claire"

Looong Weekend

 The past few years I've worked half day Fridays and now I'm on an every other Friday off schedule. Last week was pretty awesome because my off Friday turned into an off Thursday because of Good Friday which meant-- 4 day weekend! But it also means this week is going to feel so long. 5 days, what?! :) Hope everyone had a great Easter '21! Feel like it is one of the more difficult religious holidays to explain to the young ones. There were definitely some animated family meal time discussions.
