Girls Time

We got some quality time with Gigi over the past week. All smiles here-

Mom and I led Paige's Sunday School class this morning, which was a hoot. The 3's were more enamored with the dragon tails laying in the classroom dress-up pile than the Sunday school lesson, so we had to divert. We went on a dragon walk WHILE learning about listening to God with your whole heart :)

Remember When?

Does this lunch menu bring back memories? Well, now you can calculate on the calories online and see the transaction history to know if little one is buying ice cream everyday. I let Claire buy breakfast one morning and she bought a doughnut. :)

Numero 4

Claire lost another tooth today! We think it went down the pipe with the milkshake Gogo and pop pop brought her. So long tooth. The tooth fairy doesn’t need this one :)

Newport food and wine festival

We just got home from an awesome trip to New England. We got to see some fall color change in the trees, soak up some picture perfect views/weather, and overload our tastebuds with fresh seafood. Happy birthday to me! :)

Who needs a contractor when you have a Ross?

Problem: nowhere for backpacks/jackets to go because we don’t have a mud room off the garage entry. 

Solution: convert built in wine rack we don’t use anymore since getting a wine fridge into a usable space

Football

Football season is upon us isn't it?! Here's my cliff notes:

*Texas lost to LSU but looked good for the first time in a long time

*The Texans lost to the Steelers in a real "last 20 seconds of the game kinda heartbreaker". This information is secondhand, as I was already in bed. :)

The last couple years of office fantasy football competition made me pay attention to players/games a whole lot more than this year of not participating. 

This year I'd say it's more about Kindergarten, Girl Scouts,  and PTA. :)

Allergic to Something

Claire bear got an itchy rash all over her face, arms, and neck when she woke up Sunday morning :( After a whole lot of text messages with Uncle/Dr. Jeff, we decided to take C to dr on Labor Day. Dr said it looked like allergic reaction rather than virus because it pretty much followed the outline of Claire's shirt. Told us to pick up some Zyrtec and monitor over the next few days.

Meanwhile back at our house, the ice pack is the most popular remedy... oh and "more ice cream will make it better, mom"
